L’On. Camillo Oddo, Vicepresidente all’ARS, ha presentato un disegno di legge rivolto ai pescatori delle Aree Marine Protette siciliane: Isola di Ustica, Isole dei Ciclopi, Isole Egadi, Capo Gallo-Isola delle Femmine, Isole Pelagie, Plemmirio. Tale proposta ha l’intento di valorizzare la pesca artigianale in queste zone, nelle quali operano piccole marinerie che praticano ancora la pesca con strumenti artigianali. Tremaglio (la comune rete), il palangaro, le nasse, la posta fissa, tutti strumenti sostenibile che non intaccano il delicato habitat marino delle aree protette.
